this is the same issue i'm having! i just set up a bunch of new villagers in 1.20.4 and then changed my world into 24w10a and moved all the guys around (which is such a pain) and when i finally went to trade, none of them would work. i have a world backup but then I'm gonna have to get all the guys back in minecarts again
