i have same issues
just update the windows to latest ver. (21h2)
you can download the file on https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO
just rename file from .iso to .zip , extract, run the mssetup.exe
it take 6 hour to install
after finished, try to install MC on Microsoft store and it works
i already do that still didn't work. on the previous version (1.18.30) i can join without the problem. the issue is the LAN server didn't appear on menu. however, there are number of server on the tab.
