i am having the same issue in my java server world. i have updated everything, and travelled to outer chunks that haven't been loaded, where chunkbase says a pale garden should be, and there is no pale garden, just the dark forest. i've gone to at least 4 different places that a pale garden is supposed to be, and none of them exist.
