Set your graphics to Fast

Your computer is too weak, go to Settings> Video settings> Fancy Leaves: OFF

This is true and if you have a weak computer you can’t fix it, when you do such actions like break or place blocks minecraft sends a block update request to the blocks near it, specificaly to the block in 1 block distance, but redstone do more, when a redstone gets updated or powered minecraft updates all the blocks near 8 meters! Wich causes more lag. I reccomend upgrading your pc.

You maight delete your .Minecraft folder or reinstall your game, this happends when you recently played a newer version of Minecraft then downgrade your game, because your newer version data will be used on the older one, the older one can’t elaborate your Video settings from the new saved data so he tries to convert them to an old format, leaving bugs.
