My Minecraft launcher was able to launch normally yesterday when this issue was resolved. But today I am having the same issue as when this bug was reported. 

I have been having this exact same issue and trying to find a solution. Even though I own the game, it claims that I don't and the launcher connects on and off every second as it does in your attachment example. I will be checking here to see if there is any update on the problem.
