Confirming broken on Update 15 of the Oculus launcher (using the Rift) and latest normal release of the game (v1.16.201) and via the minecraft:// method noted above. Game starts and shows the "Checking for update" splash and then exits once the game attempts to actually start. If a developer needs crashdumps or other information please don't hesitate to contact. Would much like to get this resolved.
