I would like to add that I was having this same issue with pure bd craft and came here to see others had the same issue and took Darren's suggestion that Chroma hills hd worked to solve the loom issue crashing the game. I just downloaded the Chroma hills texture pack and tested out the loom issue several times. I made sure to deactivate the packs that were previously installed, I reset the game, I reset the console, I have made sure everything is up to date, I even tried starting a fresh seed each time. I don't know what else I can try. I have not resolved this loom crashing the game issue.
