When I scroll in the same direction the hotbar selector moves one box per click. But when I change directions it takes two clicks to get the selector moving.
I can move the scroll wheel back and forth by one click and the hotbar selector wont move. It does not start moving until I scroll two clicks in a direction.
Enabling or disabling Discrete Scrolling does not fix it.

Ubuntu 23.10
I also tested the same computer, same mouse, and the same version of Minecraft on Windows and I did not have the issue.

I did more research and this is bug is caused by the Logitech MX Master mouse (and potentially a limited number of other mice) in combination with some goofiness in the X server. The only fix that I could find is to use a different mouse.
