I do not understand how this is a duplicate.

Sonic, its not about budding itself, its about when the bud should occur. It occurs when I place a torch on a wall 2 blocks above the piston, but not on the floor 2 blocks above the piston.

I did it once and it happened, but the screenshot did not take and i could not do it again
