Interesting. I've yet to try your patch, and to see if it just works for you or if it works for both of us.
I think I am able to confirm.
[Edit: I am definitely able to confirm]
The version affected (1.8.8) is no longer supported.
Also, please do not mark a version other than the one you are using as affected.
Could a mod resolve this as invalid, please?
This is a feature request, not a bug report. If you would like a feature to be added to the game, please head over to the Minecraft Forums.
It happens to the best of us.
Am I the only one who noticed how quickly this was resolved?
@@unknown Thanks.
As I don't have mod privileges, I am unable to resolve this as "Duplicate". @@unknown, maybe you could do this for me?
Odd. I just tested it going uphill, and it worked just fine. Maybe try removing the sheep from the lead?
Again, mobs don't move up blocks as fast.
This means that your issue is caused by distance, as leads break after 5 blocks (I believe) of distance between the player and the mob(s) the lead is attached to. Try moving slowly while going up the hill.
Try doing that exact thing in a superflat world. I only tested one mob.
Oh, just noticed something.
up a square while on lead,
I realized I tested on a superflat world. Your issue could be caused by distance, as mobs don't move up blocks as quickly.
I am unable to confirm.
Upon experiencing this issue, please force a crash (F3+C) and attach the crash report here.
In addition to the crash report, please attach the client output log (located on the fourth tab of the launcher) to this ticket. Without these, nobody can really do much.
I am able to confirm this.
Please be more descriptive in the title and description. Pictures aren't worth a thousand words in this case.
@@unknown True.
The Minecraft Forums are pretty good for getting help with unsupported versions.
