I have also messed around with it in the latest 1.21.6 snapshot and cannot recreate the issue. Seems exclusive to 1.21.5 for me.

I did some further testing and was able to recreate it on every ice block. I made sure that everything was vanilla.

Thanks for checking on it. I made sure to test in vanilla and found the same problem. What are package resources? I am unfamiliar with that term. Also, I notice you used regular ice whereas I used blue ice, not sure if that makes a difference. Thanks.
