I have the same issue, but I'm running Java
Players will enter a portal and come out the other side with no return portal. It doesn't happen every time so I'm still trying to pin down under exactly what circumstances it occurs, but it's happened twice today on my server.
Upon constructing a portal in the place of the "missing" portal, you can get back to the portal you left the Overworld in.
However, if you TP back to overworld from Nether without constructing a portal in the "missing" portal location, you'll be spat out in the exact same spot every time. This is a huge issue because players could construct blocks around this psuedo spawnpoint and trap/suffocate another player.
This is happening to me as well with seed 0. An example is the chunk -19 4 in Overworld.
When I go through a portal from the Nether side at 75 -17 in Nether, I get spat out at 622 -127 in the Overworld with no return portal to Nether.
