What do you guys mean "Works as intended" you can't seriously expect me to believe that its an intended feature for item dispensed into a single block to ALWAYS go west. This never happened for the ENTIRETY of the dispenser/droppers existence! It starts happening in 1.8 and suddenly it's an "intended" feature. Something this simple can enable a very key redstone mechanic to work out and freely open up a bunch of possibilities for randomizers and bits and bobs! It's amazing! But, 1.8 comes along and breaks it; now they always spit out west. But no it's intended? Thats clearly not true! This makes no sense. I hope I'm reading this wrong and derping; and you've actually fixed this. But, brushing it under the rug doesn't do anything! It's a fact this behavious shouldn't be so bias and it deserves to be fixed regardless of how petty it may seem.
This is stupid! My spawn has been pretty much destroyed by Creepers! Freaking ridiculous. Theres a reason Notch originally intended for Creepers to not attack or be attacked by Iron Golems!
@Isaac King
No, it's a fact that items "travel through" blocks when enclosed. That's how the games worked for 5 years. Let me give you a clear example. If you dig a 1 block hole and throw some junk in there; then place a block inside there all the junk will pop up to the surface. It's basically a rule of thumb for the minecraft game. Items behaving in that manner are an intended feature; just like the entire games being made of blocks; or creepers exploding. It's a mechanic of the game. In this instance it's bias and they appear to refuse to fix it.
