Its probably because of the size of the screen, i've seen youtube videos when their hand/item shows more of them and some shows less

It also happens on multiplayer, also when I turned off "Only Allow Trusted Skins" Everything is still Steve, probably 1.17 bug because the steve glitch only used to happen to me on Mineplex Server.
