Sorry for the late reply.
This issue does not occur anymore since 1.9.0.15.
I think it's probably solved.
I checked all 21 versions of BDS, including 1.14.30.2,
and the issue only occurs in 1.8.0.24 and 1.8.1.2.
It seems that from version 1.8, Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 are no longer supported.
