I am running a bedrock dedicated server on Ubuntu Server 24.04 on my home network. I have the IP address of the server reserved on my router
It is not intended to be exposed to the outside world, so I set `online-mode` to `false` and set `enable-lan-visibility` to `true`
When opening instances of the game on Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and Android, it does not show up in the Worlds or Friends Tabs. I don't have access to a Windows machine to test if it shows up there but would assume the same behavior is present. See attachments for Android Screenshots.
Since Android is the only version that doesn't require some additional online game service subscription, I was able to verify that the server is available and allows connections defined in the Servers tab.

I apologize. I thought my request had enough information. Please see my initial screenshots for more information
It is worth noting that Weslley4567 added something that was completely unrelated.
Steps to Reproduce:
download 24.04 release for ubuntu server
install ubuntu server on Surface Pro 3
reserve ip address of Surface Pro 3 on wireless router
download latest release of bedrock server for ubuntu server
copy and unzip bedrock server files onto server through ssh with scp and unzip
configure server.properties
set `online-mode` to `false`
set `enable-lan-visiblity` to `true`
execute bedrock command using recommended command from bedrock server readme
Observed Results:
look for LAN world in android client in the Worlds and Friends tab: not present
look for LAN world in nintendo switch client in Worlds and Friends tab: not present
look for LAN world in xbox client in Worlds and Friends tab; not present
I can connect using the Servers tab on android client, but cannot do so on Switch or Xbox since they both require a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online and Xbox Game pass; respectively
Expected Results:
I expected to be able to see the world show up in the Worlds or Friends tab since LAN visibility is enabled. I also expect to be able to join without needing to sign in with my Microsoft or Nintendo Switch Online account
I am having a similar issue, the server seems to be only visible to Windows clients, but not Android clients. On Bedrock server preview version 1.21.60.24.
EDIT: Solved my issue by fixing incorrect subnet mask configuration on the server computer.
Hi! Is this still an issue on latest release?

I have the same issue.
Ubuntu server with MC Bedrock dedicated, and LAN game is not showing in the Worlds tab on Android as it should.
When I create new custom server in the Servers tab manually, inputting local IP and port, I can connect.
But this is causing issues for some other clients.
While comment above solved it by fixing netmask on server, this isn't the issue I'm facing.
I believe this is tied to server having multiple interfaces, one in 192.168 range and other in 10.0 range (VPN). Bedrock dedicated server binds to 0.0.0.0 which covers all interfaces, but I have a hunch it is causing this issue.
I've tried to force Bedrock server to 192.168 range but:
Server-ip= isn't support in bedrock, just Java
Hacks on Ubuntu with custom preload libs did not work for me
Simply disabling other interface did not work for me
In all cases bedrock server stays bound to 0.0.0.0
In all cases server is reachable via manual server entry (ip+port) but not shown with game’s auto discovery system as it should
I've found countless posts around the net with people having issues like this, ok, some are down to firewall or netmask, but my devices are all in same subnet, and firewall isn't interfering as otherwise manually connecting wouldn't work either.
Why isn't bedrock edition of server using server-ip or equivalent? Please add it so people can bind to correct interface.
Likewise, not my current case, but, people having multiple instances of bedrock server on same physical server eith multiple interfaces could run them all on default port, assigning each instance to their IP/interface using server-ip
Please fix it
é ótimo porém ele fica travando muitos bugs no Minecraft
