Server authoritative movement causes many problems on multiplayer servers, like taking fall damage when you shouldn't, falling into lava when you shouldn't, combat is completely broken and sometimes you glitch into blocks randomly. Though this setting is on by default on worlds and realms and cant be turned off, on Bedrock Dedicated Servers, its optional, and in the change logs it says 'Server authoritative movement is still in-progress; we recommend not using it in this release.'
So WHY use it by default? This feature has ruined combat on worlds and has forced many players to stop pvping on worlds and moving to other servers or BDS, like me, and members of the factions and UHC community.

Hi King,
Server authoritative moment is on but player correction is not which may be what they are referring to. Its also worth noting those notes are from a decent number of releases ago (back in March) and have not been updated. We're tracking that issue under another report.
I've not noticed this issue on my own servers so it may be something specific to certain configs or just something that doesn't affect the normal player too much to care.
If this is something you can reliably reproduce please provide detailed steps on how to reproduce so someone can test the issue. I've included a silly example below of what I mean.
Steps to reproduce...
Unzip latest BDS files (v1.16.100.04)
Start server with default settings
Connect with Windows 10 client
Hit tree trunk
Notice that the tree turns into a volcano and destroys a large area of the world

Situation is still the same as of 1.20.10. server-authoritative-movement is on despite not being recommend, and it still claims the lives of innocent player while not doing anything about hackers since it doesn't come with player movement correction on by default either.
