I can't add new server on the ps4, the "add server" button doesn't even appear, me and my friend have a server via aternos but we can't add it on the ps4 because the add server doesn't appear.

It's not an option because Sony's Playstation 4's EULA and ESLA don't let you put 3rd party servers. it's not mojang's problem.

Unfortunately though, Servers have not yet been implemented on PS4 and unofficial information (tweets etc) from Mojang have indicated this is something they would like to do but are currently prevented from doing so.
