[MC-101491] f3 + d does not work

when I tried to clear the chat using f3 + d it didn't work on my windows 10 laptop but it does work on (old) my windows 7 laptop.

to be honest first i taught it was an optifine bug but it doesn't seem to be the problem.

Can confirm for 1.9.3 pre-2.
Edit: I am using windows 7 so it can't be that.

Did you have the chat open while trying to clear it? (it won't work when it's open)
Make sure you didn't disable your Fx buttons with FLock or such buttons.

No I didn't had my chat window open becouse if it was it would just type "d".

Did you perhaps disable the Fx keys with keys like FLock?

I cannot reproduce myself either.
