[MC-102056] Direct Connect

Affects: 1.8.8 and 1.8.9 but there was no option, for labymod, optifine,vanilla
Also it does it for non blacklisted/existant servers (kfc..lol.net)

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to direct connect
2. ... type an ip with 3 dots like pvp..thearchon.net
3. ... Then connect

2 things:

Minecraft Version: 1.8.8
Is Modded: Very likely; Jar signature invalidated

1. 1.8.8 is outdated and no longer supported.

2. Modded game, invalid.

Then attach a crash report of an up-to-date vanilla game.

If it doesn't happen in up-to-date versions, there's no issue, as outdated version are no longer supported.
