Steps to Reproduce
Build the setup as shown in the attachment below. setup.png
Ensure that you have the "Auto-Jump" option enabled in your accessibility settings.
Approach the wall of blocks and as you do this, take note as to whether you jump or not.

Bug exists longer than 6 months without change in multiple versions.. This is alarming!
Sorry, this is for bedrock version - google navigates me to wrong project.
-This bug makes game hardly playable or even unplayable on normal and especially high difficulty because player character can not walk through door etc. This is essential especially on touch enabled devices like smartphones, tablets, Surface like devices etc. Player is simply forced to multiple tries (more than few seconds of delay in desired action like walk thru door) or disable autojump > leave self without ability to look around while jumping and with need to tap "jump" button themselves.
I catch myself when I want to erase Minecraft because of this. I own Surface and multiple Android devices and to play this game is very annoying and frustrating! Without auto jump I am forced to use different controller than touchscreen (gamepad etc.).

That was changed in 2018. The "reporter" is a person who can edit a report, add versions to it etc. without needing to have general helper or moderator permissions. You were apparently inactive.
