[MC-103346] When entering nether portal, established before the update, i fall to my death, there is no nether just bedrock.

I am playing on a private server. we already had a safe entry into the nether setup when the update occurred. After the update, when I try to enter the nether I just fall to my death landing on bedrock. While falling It is dark as if I am in the nether but no nether can be see around me. I dont attempt to walk then fall once i appear in the nether i fall.

What are the overworld portal's coordinates? Does this happen every time you use that portal?

coordinates 519.487/68.85/1258.546. I Tried twice and my Brother on his profile tried the same portal even made another one next to it and the same thing happened.

Gregory did he say how he fixed it? I'm wondering if the nether portal teleported you out high above the nether and you landed on the ceiling. It might be related to bug report MC-103352
