Whenever I play minecraft, no matter what way I play it, there is most of the time a glitch that messes up my walking, so, when I go to jump while walking(probably to get over something because I am not used to the new auto jump) it will stop me from moving if I continue to press the button that is for walking, and it also occurs when I am walking straight or backwards, and then I switch to moving left or right, but it doesn't seem to be affected by the auto jump option, it still continues after that disabled. And sometimes it just goes away, only to come back a little while later, and I have not found a proven-to-work method to control it... I also have no idea how to cause it so that you can try and identify the issue because it happens whenever it happens...

Yes, that is exactly it, but it also occurred if you were to press the left or right key for movement. So those would be A and D. I wish I could show you guys what I am talking about but I have already switched back to Windows as Ubuntu was just full of issues, but that is what would happen, and that is the best I can describe it to you.
Hold F3 for ten seconds will force the game to crash. In the crash report is useful information about your computer system, which could help determine if it's Minecraft or you.
If this is still an issue for you in 1.11.2, please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.
So you're walking along, and sometimes after manually jumping it doesn't let you continue walking until you unpress and repress the walk key?
