So basiclly, i built a little and simple contraption that push a block to the side ans up, like a little hidden door, it looked like in the pictures(below), i tried to push the observer block with it and that block just glitched out and like puushed down and then teleported back to where it was, that was weird, i tested out something with that and i managed to get what the problem is, the redstone was in like with the detecting part of the observer block, which caused the piston to push the observer block down and push it up again ,cuz it was 1 tick, and then the observer block stays in place cuz the redstone updated the observer block which powered for some reason the piston below it, and then caused it to retrack fast and the other 2 pistons pushed the normal piston back to place, please fix it mojang.

The issue is that you can't make those little hidden switches I guess or something it just push the block, since the air Redstone dust is powering right at the time the observer block is near it which updates the block and send Redstone signal, and that is powering the lower piston at the end it just won't move since it is powering the piston below it to retract it back up, and then u can't move the block anymore
~From my testing, I believe the cause of this bug is this:~
~Sometimes an observer can get locked into a permanent "on" state if it is pushed while being activated. If you make a flying machine like this one:~
~and then, after getting it going, you spam one of the observers with flint-and-steel updates, then the machine will get stuck, and that observer will be permanently on until you break it. Pushing/pulling the observer with pistons and relogging doesn't fix the observer, which will stay powered forever until you break it.~
EDIT: Ignore this comment... I thought this bug was something else and I wasn't paying attention at the moment...
I tried it the observer is being updated when it is pulled back down, making the redstone activate for a tick pushing it back up. It seems almost intended, but it is the same issue as MC-107662.
MC-107662 is half describing it, in here I believe the observer block isn't staying powered but is not moving, and it powering the piston BELOW it, which I don't think should happen that muchh
After performing the bug listed above, place a redstone lamp behind the observer block and you will find it stays powered.
What exactly is the issue?
