[MC-107592] Unloaded Chests and Animals

Many of my chests won't load but they are still there. My animals I believe to be gone altogether.

Note that in MC-107983, an allegedly affected world was attached.

Did you at any point use 1.10.2 after using a 1.11 snapshot?

I did but only after the chest weren't loaded in 16w39a. I loaded a backup of the world and tried again with the same results.

Are there any errors or warnings in the Game Output tab of your launcher?

Is this still an issue in the most recent versions (currently that is 1.11.2, or 17w14a) of Minecraft? If so, please update the affected versions and help us keeping this ticket updated from time to time. If you are the owner/reporter of this ticket, you can modify the affected version(s) yourself.
