As in the title, when I look straight down and use the fishing rod, the bobber won't despawn, even after I use it again, or switch my item from it, or remove the fishing rod COMPLETELY. it just stays there, connected to me.
Now for the strange thing:
When I try to relog, it stops responding and crashes.
I can't provide a crash report because the new launcher doesn't provide it.
A picture that demonstrates the bug, where I hold nothing but the bobber is still there, attached to me, is attached.
I hope this will be fix ASAP!
Thanks.

Dupe of MC-109256
Well. sorry for not explaining myself properly.
If you look at the screenshot, you can see that I DON'T hold a fishing rod, while I'm supposed to hold it to make the bobber alive.
I'll edit the OP to make it clearer.
About the single ticket - I'm sorry, I didn't notice.
I'll make sure it's not on the same ticket next time.
Thanks for the quick answer.
EDIT: Just saw SunCat's comment.
This issue has nothing to do with the mentioned issue.
This issue is about casting the fishing rod while looking straight down, while MC-109256 is about lag in SP. I have no lag.
Sorry, but it's completely different.
ANOTHER EDIT: violine1101, I had to reinstall MC due to problems launching (before this issue), and when the launcher created the .minecraft folder, it didn't create a crash-logs directory.
Isn't that caused by MC-109277 ?
It's a dupe of MC-109256 unless you can reproduce it without freezing the game.
Singleplayer server freezes (doesn't response) and the client plays without updates from the server - so the client doesn't remove the bobber as it needs an update from the server that the bobber should despawn. Try after casting a fishing rod to summon any other mob and you'll see the issue.
This issue duplicates MC-109256.
Please do not put two issues into one ticket.
The part about the bobber is intended. What should it do instead? Before 16w43a, it bounced on the ground (MC-98922), which is fixed now.
For the crash log, go to your
.minecraft
folder and open thecrash-logs
folder. You can get to the.minecraft
folder by going to the "Launch options" tab in your (new) launcher, select the launch option you used and click on the arrow symbol next to "Game directory".
