When an armorstand is holding a slime block in its hand, the slime gets rendered behind objects that it should not be. Chests, Particles, the little black block outline when looking at things in non-adventure mode, etc etc.

Command used to summon the ArmorStand:
/summon armor_stand ~ ~ ~ {ArmorItems:[{},{},{},{}],HandItems:[{id:"slime",Count:1b},{}]}

Maybe, but this wasnt an issue with 1.10.2, so I do believe its a new bug rather than one thats been around for 3.5 years.

FFS, this isn't a duplicate issue. This is a NEW issue.... Look at the screenshots of the report you claim this duplicates, and then look at the video I provided. The two are nothing alike...
Try it yourself. On 1.10.2 the is not a rendering issue. On 1.11. there is an issue...

@unknown, can you please put the command used for creating the armor stand holding the slime into the description to make it easier for others to reproduce this bug?

Then how does a 3.5 year old bug barely surface on 1.11? I can reproduce the issues in that bug on 1.10.2, but not this one. This one is new.

"wrong rendering order" is "wrong rendering order", and that's final.

No wonder so many bugs go unsolved in this game, they never reach the ears of the actual developers that can fix them because the mod/helper team dismisses them. Thanks for the help guys.

Ok, I was in the middle of making a video of side by side 1.10.2 and 1.11 to prove to you guys it was new, and lo-and-behold it happens on 1.10.2. I guess I just never happened to see it before. I'll admit when I'm wrong. I was wrong. It does seem to be a duplicate of the other bug. Sorry for blowing up.
