Dropper - Brewing stand inconsistency

Steps to produce the bug:
1. Place a dropper facing a brewing stand
2. Place 2 hoppers: one going into the dropper and one taking items from the brewing stand (being under the brewing stand) Both hoppers are connected to a double chest on the other "door" (my english is bad, sorry)
3. Fill up the upper chest with water bottles
4. Makes the dropper fire several times with a button
5. After a while, bottles begins to not be placed into the brewing stand.

I had this problem trying to make a hard-drive-like-system using brewing stands, based on Etho's design: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vgO-AWYyPw (12:40)
In the files, a screenshot of my setup. (I was blocked after 3 bottles fired)
Thanks for solving this problem

EDIT: In the attached world, i success to place two more bottles each time I exit the world and come back
2nd EDIT: This bug may be related to https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-111753 , because it also implicates a brewing stand that doesn't work correctly

If the brewing stand is full, it will not accept more bottles, the number it fits its 3, just like the number you said it blocks.

The hopper is being blocked by a redstone signal, cant recreate it if the hopper is not powered

As you can see in the screenshot, a hopper is taking the bottles when they get placed into the bewing stand... wasn't I clear? (I don't speak english that good... :/)

No If I place manually the bottle in the brewing stand, it gets taken by the hopper... please don't think I don't know what I say when I say there's a bug, I verified it was one before posting this

Urielsalis do you get the problem with the world download?

I have this same issue since 1.11.1. Strangely the hopper feeding the bottles into the brewing stand will work if you manually interact with the brewing stand either by removing or placing bottles into the available slots. Hoppers placed below the brewing stand seem unaffected by this bug.

Yes, I have also seen that...
To me, the bug is due to the hopper placed under the brewing stand: it doesn't "tell" the brewing stand it has removed a bottle from it, so the brewing stand "thinks" it is full, and "tell" to other elements it can't accept more bottles.

Yea, I have noticed a similar problem. My brewing station that I built in 1.10 is broken. The brewing stand will only take in 3 bottles now before it will no longer accept any more bottles.

Take a look at my attached video for more information.

In my actual brewing station, I disable the hopper on the bottom, then I press a button that enables it while disabling the one feeding into the brewing stand, so the 3 bottles will come out and then when they're all done it will again disable the bottom hopper and enable the top/side hopper allowing it to put new water bottles in. Previously, those bottles would go into the brewing stand again, but now they don't. If I replace the brewing stand with a new one, it will take 3 bottles and then be done.

Just came across the same issue. Something is not being properly reset in the brewing stand. To reset it, you need to manually place bottles in the brewer and remove them manually. After that, the hopper can insert another 3 bottles.

Temporary fix:
Remove hoppers from under brewing stands and remove the potions manually.... 😞
