Snow Impossibly Placed On Lever

I was building something and I noticed something go on the lever. When there is snow next to the lever, it just automatically places snow on the lever, which is impossible doing manually. It cannot happen on one slab (of any type), but it does happen on stacked half slabs and all full blocks. When it does place, it cannot be broken, unless you break the block underneath, break the lever, or break the snow next to the lever. The snow on the lever has no hitbox, Which makes it impossible to break directly.
