Scoreboard tag arguement can't be used alone

This one is quite a strange thing.

This is a situation:
I got a function that constantly tags me with the tag "YM"
I typed the first command (2nd picture) and it doesn't detect me and remove my tag.
However, with the 2nd command (1st picture), I can remove my tag somehow.

No idea why it happened, but definitely not a joke.
