When I try to change the narrator voice in my windows settings, minecraft still sticks with the default. Both can talk at the same time, so I suspect they're different systems. The Voice/Speech sound setting doesn't change, even when turned off.

Suddenly (and for the first time) a voice reads-off all the command-block outputs, mode changes, etc., etc., and I cannot turn it off. I have every audio slider set to OFF with no effect.
How to shut off this accursed voice? I've a machine that clones a RR trestle as a minecart rides along. It is executing an average of seven commands per second and the voice 'feature' is chattering non-stop. Even after the cart is stopped it chatters on for several minutes more.
Please fix this! This is NOT resolved
Apparently Minecraft/JAVA uses the ISpVoice API, which means calls to GetVolume and SetVolume aren't done properly..? Should pass an integer value between 0 and 100. Can't look at the code myself sadly, but someone should be able to look at it.
@phoenix williams: Narrator can be turned off with [CTRL] + [B]
This is not resolved, not sure why someone set it as resolved.
