Shield with banner has broken colors

Missing upgrade path, assigned to the one who made the change.

Please provide a map that when loaded breaks.

If you don't want the world to be public, we can set this issue to private, so the world file would not be publicly available anymore.
In fact, you already set this report to private.

I'm very sorry, but Mediafire only lets me download the files one by one, could you perhaps zip them up into a single file? It will be hours of work downloading them by hand 😞

Could you create a new ticket for the issue with strings and carpets please? We don't want reports to be about multiple bugs, so we'll have this one about banners and the other one about carpets.

Thanks, seems to happen when you load a world from 1.10 and older straight in 1.13 snapshots. If you'd load it in 1.11 and 1.12 then all is fine.

Sadly a known but severe issue in the upgrade system, going to need quite a rewrite on it. But at least I might know how now! 😃

Omigosh Thank you! Considered stepping upgrades over the weekend too. I'm just glad my Save isn't botched!
