Regarding your comment on the other report (commenting here so as not to send a bunch of emails)
We usually don't reopen old tickets when a bug crops back up, because
1) it will likely be buried;
2) the internal cause is probably different.
So we'll make or accpt a new report, while marking it as "clones" just to indicate that this behavior has happened before.
