Ghost blocks still exist even after the fix in snapshot 17w50a

Using the machine in the video attached, put the block (that is the same as the ones attached on the sticky pistons on the ground) on the slime block attached to the sticky piston and then, immediately destroy it. Next, you click the button and then the following happens: the block gets duplicated (not 100% of the time) or the block doesn't get duplicated.
