[MC-124836] Extreme GPU/CPU usage after death when facing north upon dying

Upon dying while facing north, the player will respawn facing south while having extreme fps spikes.

Using ALT+SHIFT+F3, we see big red blobs where it would usually be green.

While I cannot consistently reproduce, it has happened to me before, every so often. I cannot locate the reason for this bug to occur. It might not have to do with facing North but I am not entirely sure. On a side note, I have observed this bug occurring since 1.9 snapshots.

Yes, it is still an issue in Minecraft 1.31.1.
