The bug

Screenshots display some weird behavior with tree generation where trees are generated too close to each other (so far only in forest biome).

Just found 5 birch trees generating with their trunks next to each other in snapshot 18w07a

I'm pretty sure this is intentional, though I may just be talking about bonemealed trees.

Still an issue in 18w15a!

Confirmed in 18w16a. I found a village in the middle of a forest and the trees are crazy close together. It's as dense as a roofed forest in spots and they are super tall.

The trees are also eating the village. But I'm not sure if that is caused by this bug or by MC-124949. But I'll post this there as well.
