So i have this singleplayer world where everything broke when i opened it in the latest snapshot 18w10b. So what broke? Hoppers, droppers, redstone, fences i couldnt even pick up items and the beacon effects wouldn't update to 0:16 sec. So I went back into the snapshot archives and I found out this was still the case in snapshot 17w47b. I read the snapshot page: https://minecraft.net/nl-nl/article/minecraft-snapshot-17w47a
and found out that everything broke in this snap. But I guess the issues are still not resolved as of like 4 months later in 18w10b?
tldr Very slowtickrate(i guess) and redstone stuff not working (updates in game neither such as beacon effects updates) been happening since 17w47b still happening in 18w10b.

Cannot reproduce, please attach the affected world, if possible, if not, upload it to another site (eg mediafire, dropbox, etc.) and provide the link.
While it's uploading. I want to say the following: Look at the behaviour of redstone (you can find redstone almost everywhere), drop something on the ground and try to pick it up or even try eating the meat. I have tried creating a new creative world with this snapshot and indeed the redstone works perfectly. This world is very old, but it still works in 1.12.2. I have made a zipfile of the worldmap (the world is around 600 mb). I hope you have the same problems as i encounter:

Edit: I said it still works in 1.12.2: I am referring to the fact that everything is working as intended (so i dont have the problems i mentioned).
You have a lot of entities in your area. After killing them, the tick rate improved significantly, beacons update as intended, items can be picked up, eating doesn't take forever, and most redstone components seem to work.
I will try that this afternoon, but it's still a problem that my world can run in 1.12.2 (with these entities) but not in snapshot 18w10c (with these entities). To be fair that's considered a huge bug to me, which means (not to be rude) that it's still not resolved.
Hi, thanks for your report. I looked over what you described, but given the size of your world I'm not sure where to look for the specific things you describe. Additionally, I think there may be several bugs happening to you simultaneously. I'm going to resolve this report, can you please create one new ticket for each of the following issues:
Redstone dust and fences which aren't connected
Piston and redstone block disappearing from your iron farm wiring
The game crashing when you visit the area of your iron farm
Your world just crashes when you start the game
Where relevant, please include a crash report or launcher log. Also, please include the download link to your world in all these tickets, and, if relevant, give coordinates for where the issue can be observed.
edit: just noticed this report is already resolved. Please create the 4 new tickets anyway, they sound like valid issues.
The crashes are the same. See this thread: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-124123 For the redstone, fences not connecting see: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-127136.
I can't reproduce the piston and redstone block disappearing as air block, because when i go to the iron farm(spawn chunks) the world crashes, and keeps on crashing when i reopen the world.
Thanks for following up. When you open the world in 18w08b, can you reproduce the disappearing blocks?
Hey yeah i opened it up and went throught the netherportal and my world still crashes.
[media]. So I can't look if the blocks disappeared.
Right. Once MC-124123 is fixed, please do check again.
Please do not mark unreleased versions as affected.
You don't have access to them yet.
