Coral plants do not break if the underneath block is removed, even if we update the surroundings

Also, the water in the coral plant doesn't appear to update (aka, flow) if you remove blocks around it. I think this is the same bug (aka, coral plants don't update at all).
Edit: Not the same bug, what I described is MC-125297 and does not only affect coral plants.

Possibly related to this. You can't pick up water on a Coral Plant. And breaking a Coral Plant makes the water disappear (MC-127308). Edit: Related issue effects Coral Fans as well.
