It Works as Intended,you are pushed out of the Boat if youe boat is over Soul Sand, and the Video you posted Shows a Bug that was Fixed, in which Boats Traveled Upstream.

Cannot reproduce. Also the video your provided is almost 8 years old and has nothing to do with the issue you described. If you can reproduce, please provide a small video demonstrating the issue.
