When you are in Survivalmode/Creativemode and you put a spawnegg/enchantment bottle/enchanted book/nether star in your hotkeybar, the color of the experiencebar will change the color. You must have an empty slot in the bar.
If the Item is for example on slot 5, there has to be another item on slot 1-4. Otherwise you cant reproduce it.

Look at the screenshots, the first picture is with the spawnegg and the second without. On the first you can see that the color of the experiencebar is olive. On the second you can see the "normal" color.
It has to be a single spawnegg, if you have 2 or 3... the color is normal.
I get this, I also get an invisible XP bar in survival (Until I get a level) and an XP bar showing in creative. Should I file a seperate issue?
I just did with screenshots, MC-13659
perhaps i have a slightly different issue, but i tried putting a diamond horse armor and diamond sword in an anvil. When I took the horse armor back out, the XP bar turned dark. Removing it from the hotbar changed it back to its normal colour, but putting it back in makes it go dark again. 13w16a.
I don't notice any change EDIT on my system.
