Place a sign with text on it
Get some dye
Enter adventure mode
Use dye on sign
Note
Since adventure mode players can't edit blocks they should not be able to dye the sign.
This is important because important information is often communicated on signs in maps and areas where the player is expected not to be able to break stuff. Changing the color may cause ugliness or in the worst case, cause the sign to become very hard to read.

By fixing this bug, apparently dyeing signs is now only possible in Creative mode – see MC-146252 for that.
can confirm for 18w44a aswell, I also agree to that adventure mode should not be allowed to do this, because, they can lose important items by using them on signs and signs are often used in maps, maps made for adventure
