Modified Jungle Edge biomes only generate when a Jungle borders a Swamp Hills biome

Modified Jungle Edge (Jungle Edge M) Biomes only Generate if Jungle borders a Swamp Hills (Swampland M) Biomes..

The Light Green is a Modified Jungle Edge and the Light Teal is Swamp Hills.

As you can see, the Modified Jungle Edge Biomes only Generate when Jungle borders Swamp Hills Biome. This makes Modified Jungle Edge the rarest biome in the game.

Probably just designed to be that way, I see no reason to assume this is a bug.

Can you change the reporter to me? This issue wasn't updated by the reporter ever since it was created. Confirmed for 1.15.2 and 20w15a

This is not a bug, the game is designed to be this way.

Hi! Is this still an issue in the latest version of the game? If so, please add it to the affected versions.

But there is no official proof of that. So, this ticket is supposed to be left open until a developer decides.

I admit that this is supposed to be rare. But this is literally unfindable, you need to use BiomeFinder or /locatebiome to find it. Perhaps change it in a way that it'll be created when bordering all non-forest hill biomes, (Savanna Plateau, Desert Hills, Snowy Mountains ETC) to make it rare, but findable.

Would Modified Jungle Edge generates when a Jungle borders Shattered Savanna or Shattered Savanna Plateau?

/locatebiome has failed to find modified jungle edges every time I tried. Edit: I finally was able to find it by a lot of luck. It truly was created among a swamp hills biome and a jungle (edge) biome, but its placement is really strange.

Jungle Edge M and Swamp Hills no longer generate, considering this fixed.
