Rain animation of water drops falling from leaf blocks continue to completion even if the block is destroyed

Breaking a leaf block when it's raining and the animation of water drops falling from leaf blocks is in progress, the animation will continue until complete even if the block is already gone.

What I expected to happen was the animation to stop completely.

What actually happened was the animation continued until it was done.

This is a very minor bug, not even annoying really, just something I noticed while playing.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have it rain
2. Find a leaf block that currently has water drop falls animation.
3. Break the leaf block half way through animation.
