As dogs/tamed wolfs are friendly mobs, it is expected that parrots won't imitate their sounds.
Even if there might be some inconvenience in the code to make parrots distinguish between dogs and wolfs, it would be very nice that if this can be fixed: This imitation is so often and annoying that you won't want to keep parrots and dogs in the same building or neighbourhood.

@Yellow01 But dogs are not neutral mobs. I've separated dogs from (untamed) wolfs in the description.
Technically, they're not dogs. One being killed shows it's death message, confirming its name is Wolf.
"Dogs" are still neutral; if you attack them or their owner (unless the assailant is its owner) the dog attacks that player.
@Yellow01 I know technically they're still wolfs, but after all they're not that 'neutral'. In single-player worlds, they will never attack the player and are therefore 100% friendly.
BTW, no matter this is a bug or not, it's quite useless and disturbing in my opinion ._.
Wolves are neutral mobs. Endermen are also neutral mobs, and are imitated.
In short, WAI.
