another issue thats been around for a long time. horses do go faster than donkeys, so i think horses should also be able to have a storage chest like donkeys and mules.

I don't agree with you here, since that's a natural trade-off. There is a flaw in your logic. Mules/donkeys are used for transporting goods, ofc they are not that fast, a horse is fast, but cannot carry that much weight (or would be slower then). Try lifting some weights and running at the same time, you will learn what I mean. 😛
I actually like having a slow donkey with goods. It's more chilling.
