[MC-143525] CRASHING!!!

My Minecraft has been crashing since 1.13.2 came out! I click play and it starts loading and crashes.

Right. I've been through millions of these reports and they all say the same thing, go to %APPDATA% and go to the crash folder otherwise they can't help. I've done that but NOTHING COMES UP! only crashes from 2016 and 2017. I need this fixed soon and I don't know what to do right now. I've even downloaded the whole program again and downloaded the latest version of JAVA.

Someone please help.

Did you try deleting (or renaming) the entire .minecraft folder? Did you try paying attention to the logging window that opens when you start the game? Sometimes it has useful errors in it. Are you using the old launcher, or the new one?

If the game crashes, the launcher will pop up and show a button which link to it; if the game's actually crashing, then there's always a crash report.

Yup. I'm sure when he says "There is no crash report", harassing him for a crash report is the best way to help. Keep up the good work. 👍

@FVbico if you read the description... It doesn't show up. And also the game did crash as it states when the launcher pops back up "Game Crash... sorry for any inconvenience"

Old launcher or new launcher? Can you screenshot the logging window that pops up? Did you try moving/deleting the entire .minecraft folder?

I have renamed the folder and it loaded farther so I could see the Mojang screen but then crashes. Here is the launcher 🙂

Can you check for a crash log again? If it loaded to where you can see the Mojang logo, there's usually a crash log.

If it's still not there, can you make sure the indicated switch in the dialog pictured is enabled, and try again? It should pop up a white window full of logs, which you can just take a screenshot of.

Please. Read the report. Assume the person reporting the bug (or support request in this case) is doing their best to be honest and accurate. Under those assumptions, attempt to actually help. This is like watching an Indian call center do tech support in text format. Your scripted responses are not helpful. Do something helpful, or just don't do anything. You're only bothering the people actually trying to fix this.

Try the fixes in MC-23484 / MCL-6550.
@unknown, don't be such harsh to users on here, it's good you try to help users but don't cut of people like that.. there's no need for that.

This is not our job, and helpers/mods are volunteers. That doesn't change that you're being VERY harsh in your responses and should take it down a notch.
