The Bug:
Cats' and ocelots' legs pass through their backs.
Steps to Reproduce:
Summon a cat or an ocelot.
Walk for it to begin walking and watch its back closely.
Take note as to whether or not cats' and ocelots' legs pass through their backs.
Observed Behavior:
Cats' and ocelots' legs pass through their backs.
Expected Behavior:
Cats' and ocelots' legs would not pass through their backs.

I mean, it isn't a full on BUG, but something that should be fixed and treated as one of the "Minor bugs" that get fixed in the next snapshot lol

Not really an issue for all the cats, just the Tuxedo, as its legs top faces have a white texture.
That would be MC-237556 BTW.
Can confirm in 1.18.
I think the legs pass through their backs so that it looks like they are moving their shoulder blades when walking, that is very noticeable in real cats.

I don't think the model is a problem, but the white texture on the legs of the Tuxedo cat is, although that would have to be followed in MC-237556.
This has always been a thing, however, Jappa's new tuxedo cat texture has the top bits of the legs... white. I'm not sure why he did that, but I hope he changes his mind. On Bedrock, the new texture for the tuxedo cat actually has the top bits colored black.
