Redstone wire not connecting correctly

Currently When I was placing redstone trying to make a daylight sensor power a redstonetorch leading to a commandblock that does /time set day.I tried making another one turning to the left and it didn't go straight it just went horizontal currently like in the picture.I have even tried going into a singeplayer survival/creative world and it did the same bug.

Looks like the issue is caused be messed up textures in the texturepack you have there... test without the texturepack. Also when you find bugs always test in vanilla(no texturepack, no mods).

Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while ingame and attach the crash report here.

Probably the texture pack, the creator of the pack went lazy and didn't do redstone right

Well I have tried using a new minecraft.jar (force update I kept the one I used in another file and it didn't glitch out).So I think the problem is resolved.

Ahhh Well I'll try using my old one and using the original faithful instead of faithful venom

I can confirm that this is a problem with optifine and possibly other similar mods/tools. it does, however, seem to be a core problem, rather than anything relating to connected textures. so, good news to all users of optifine who have this problem, it should be a very easy fix. I will message the creator somehow now.

I had this problem in vanilla, no tpacks at all

You probably have a X-ray mod installed/Hacked client because that does happen when using one

@unknown: If you have this problem without resource packs, attach a screenshot and a forced crash report here and we can reopen it.
