If the block at the leg area of the player changes to collide with the player's hit box, the player will freeze being unable to move or look around. Doesn't work on mobs.
this includes sand dropping onto the player and turning into a sand block at leg level. Also
standing up against a wall that is connected to 2 blocks on opposite sides at leg level and breaking one of the blocks to change the wall to that thicker disconnected state. Other similar situations are possible.
Edit: also happens with doors, fences, things that have collision boxes that can change.
re logging also doesnt fix it.
The only way I have found to be able to escape it is to break the colliding block (if possible) or go into spectator mode

Believe I've also just experienced the same thing whilst opening/closing a door whilst standing on a stair block. Caused my character to clip into the stair block requiring me to break the door to release the character. More screens attached from my 1.14.2 PR4 world.
Doesn't seem to be entirely consistent.
It Just happened Yesterday when I got stuck in Doors,Fence gates,and trapdoors MCPE-46743
i can reproduce this bug with sea pickles. when bone meal the sea pickle, it can sometimes spread to nearby coral blocks. if you stand on one of the blocks it spread to, you will get stuck.
I can confirm this has happened to me several times with both trapdoors and falling sand. When you try to look around, you turn for a split-second and then the view resets to where you were looking when you got stuck. I can block with a shield and eat and use items but as I said, I can't turn to break the block I'm in and I also can't sneak. Playing on 1.14.2 PR4.

Going into spectator mode is preferable.
This glitch happens to me just about every time I go through a door or a fence gate.
Untill 5 mins ago I resolved this by tp-ing horizontally, but now MC decided to drop me out of the world.
I heard rumours that this would be the final pre-release... I hope that's false
