[MC-153048] Player is kicked out of boat when using soul sand bubble column

The bug
When using bubble columns to go up, player is kicked out of boat after the going up a few blocks.

To reproduce

/fill ~-2 ~-1 ~-2 ~2 ~20 ~2 glass hollow
/fill ~-2 ~-1 ~-2 ~2 ~-1 ~2 soul_sand
/fill ~-1 ~ ~-1 ~1 ~20 ~1 water
Get in a boat and move to the bottom of the column.

Expected result
The player should get to the top of the column along with the boat.

Actual result
The player is kicked out of the boat after going up a few blocks.

to reproduce: build a tower, at least 20 blocks high, in which there is an enclosed 2x2 column of water that is bubble column going up (the 2x2 water in the glass in picture is bubble column) make an entrance as shown in the picture and enter it. after a few seconds player is kicked out of boat while being pushed up by bubble column.

I'll resolve this as a duplicate of MC-154589. Even though the aforementioned report was created after this one, it has been updated more consistently, and thus contains more up-to-date information. Thanks for taking the time to update this ticket!
